first impression when entering La Caracola (The Seashell) is already
unique.
The small cosy restaurant has an impressing fresh and clean
atmosphere without seeming too sterile, due to the lovingly chosen
accessories.
Incredibly, the kitchen, furniture and ambience have not changed in 20
years, for the same length of time as Dieter Grupe, experienced chef
with a state certificate in hotel management and patisserie, has run
this excellent restaurant.
Dieter who is from
Berlin
and Chris his wife from Hess, have a very impressive knowledge of the
inhabitants of the sea, which they will gladly pass on to their guests.
All you want to know about tuna, sole etc, is also found on the
extensive menu.
Dieter's magic with fish is truly amazing. "Swordfish Cordon Blue" and
"Swordfish Filet Stroganoff" are some of the examples from a wide range
of exquisite meals.
All
meals are freshly prepared, there are no ready made or frozen products
to be found here.
The cooking is done with the same wine as the guests
are drinking.
The husband and wife team celebrate a personal
cooking experience second to none under the motto
